Mining Industry Marketing Expo 2025

DAY 1 & 2 HIGHLIGHTS

The energy in Tarkwa was undeniable as the Mining Industry and Marketing Expo 2025 officially kicked off, hosted by The Ghana Chamber of Mines. The opening session set the tone, with inspiring remarks from Ing. Dr. Kenneth Ashigbey, CEO of the Chamber, and Prof. Grace Ofori-Sarpong Akuffo (FGA), Provost of UMaT. The message was clear: Ghana’s mining future depends on collaboration, innovation, and bold action.

MAC Partners Group was proud to show up as a Silver Sponsor and even prouder to contribute meaningfully to the conversation.

During the Learning Academy session, our Business Development Manager, Quaye Raymond, took the stage to spotlight a cause close to our heart: local content development in Ghana’s mining industry. And for us, local content isn’t just a buzzword. It’s a commitment.

It lives in our investment in ALQU Rubber and Engineering Solutions, strengthening in-country industrial capacity.
It shows in our dedication to developing skilled professionals through the Technician Apprenticeship and Career Training (TACT) Program, preparing the next generation to power the mining and process industries forward.

For us, advocacy must be backed by action and that’s exactly what we’re building.

Day 2 Reflections

As Day 2 drew to a close, one powerful takeaway stood out:
Conversations are important but commitment is transformational.

The Expo created a dynamic space where ideas were exchanged, partnerships explored, and practical solutions discussed. The real opportunity now lies in turning those conversations into measurable steps that strengthen Ghana’s mining value chain.

We extend our sincere appreciation to The Ghana Chamber of Mines and our gracious hosts, the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa, for creating such a valuable platform for industry collaboration.

Special recognition goes to Ing. Dr. Kenneth Ashigbey, Rosaline Nutsugah, Angela Tetteh, and the many mining, support, and allied companies whose participation made the event impactful.

And to everyone who visited the MAC Partners booth thank you. Your questions, insights, and shared vision for industry growth are what keep the momentum alive.

The future of Ghana’s mining sector isn’t built in isolation.
It’s built in partnership.

And we’re proud to be part of the movement.
