In a significant step towards building and empowering its community, AngloGold Ashanti’s Obuasi Mine, in collaboration with Mac Partners Training Institute, embarked on a comprehensive Jumbo Operator training program in South Africa for seven (7) youth apprentices from the Obuasi community.
A twelve-week program aimed to enhance the skills of trainees in underground mining activities, a critical aspect of the mine’s operations.
