On Thursday, 29th May 2025, MAC Partners Training Institute (MPTI) had the honour of welcoming a high-level delegation from the Minerals Development Fund (MDF), led by the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Hanna Louisa Bissiw-Kotei.
The visit marked a significant step toward advancing skills development for youth within Ghana’s mining communities.
The delegation was received by the MPTI team and taken on a comprehensive tour of our training facilities. From our modern workshops and industry-standard equipment to our structured technical training pathways, the MDF team experienced firsthand MPTI’s commitment to delivering high-quality, industry-aligned programmes.
The core focus of the engagement was to explore a strategic partnership aimed at training 2,500 youth from mining communities. Dr. Bissiw-Kotei shared MDF’s bold vision to equip young people with practical, employable skills that will enable them to thrive within Ghana’s mining and industrial sectors.

MPTI expressed strong enthusiasm for the proposed collaboration, recognizing the transformative potential such an initiative holds. Productive discussions were held to outline a framework that would leverage MPTI’s expertise, accreditation, and technical capacity to deliver structured, impactful training tailored to MDF’s objectives.
As the visit concluded, Dr. Bissiw-Kotei reiterated her commitment to youth empowerment and sustainable community development. MPTI equally reaffirmed its readiness to partner in delivering a programme that will create real opportunities and measurable impact.
This engagement signals the beginning of what promises to be a strategic and transformative partnership one dedicated to strengthening Ghana’s mining communities by investing in their greatest asset: their youth.
