We are currently implementing a 5-year transformation and growth plan to institutionalize systems, expand regionally, deepen local manufacturing, and build next-generation leadership.
To support this strategic journey, we seek a human resources professional who acts as a strategic link between HR and business goals, working directly with senior leadership to ensure our people strategy aligns with the company’s overall objectives

ROLE SUMMARY
The HR Business Partner (People & Culture Lead) will spearhead the development and implementation of HR systems, organizational structures, performance frameworks, talent pipelines, training systems, and culture-building initiatives across the Group.
This is a strategic and operational leadership role focused on transforming MAC into a scalable, system-driven organization capable of sustaining rapid growth in engineering, manufacturing, and technical training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Organisational Development & Workforce Planning
    Design and update organograms, role profiles, job grading and competency frameworks for all subsidiaries.
    Translate business strategy into structured workforce plans and staffing requirements.
    Support restructuring initiatives led by the Office of the CEO.
  2. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Management
    Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment across the Group (technical, administrative, leadership, training, and factory roles).
    Build talent pipelines for operations in Ghana and emerging markets (Guinea, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso).
    Improve candidate experience and onboarding discipline across subsidiaries.
  3. Performance Management Systems
    Lead the rollout of the Group-wide performance management framework using KPIs, scorecards, and quarterly reviews.

Work with subsidiary leaders to define targets, track performance, and enforce accountability.
Support design of incentive plans linked to performance (GM roles, TTM, production teams, sales teams).

  1. Culture, Values & Leadership Development
    Drive culture-building initiatives across the Group, ensuring alignment with MAC’s values and leadership philosophy.
    Operationalize the Navigator & Catalyst Leadership Programs for emerging leaders.
    Facilitate internal communication that strengthens culture, professionalism, and teamwork.
  2. Learning & Development (L&D)
    Conduct Training Needs Analysis across all subsidiaries annually.
    Coordinate delivery of skills development, compliance training, supervisory training, and CPD initiatives.
    Collaborate closely with MPTI and subsidiary technical managers to ensure workforce competency development.
  3. Employee Relations & Compliance
    Oversee employee relations, grievance resolution, disciplinary processes, and conflict management.
    Ensure compliance with Ghana Labour Law and HR governance standards.
    Provide HR advisory support to GMs, supervisors, and line managers.
  4. HR Operations & Systems
    Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs and HRIS systems for effective people management.
    Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and reports.
    Prepare monthly HR dashboards and metrics for the Office of the CEO.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Required
Minimum first degree in human resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Development, or related fields.
Minimum 7–10 years, with at least 3 years in a senior HR or managerial role.
Proven experience managing HR in engineering, manufacturing, mining services, EPC, or multi-site operations.
Strong competence in organizational design, performance management, talent acquisition, and HR policy development.
Preferred
Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, CIHRM).
Experience supporting organizational transformation or rapid growth.
Familiarity with technical learning environments, L&D systems, or TVET institutions.
Experience with West Africa (Guinea, Sierra Leone, etc.) labour environments is a plus.
